First, a bit of history:

In 1999 I launched the Elliot Katzovitz Insurance Agency from scratch and quickly built up a loyal following among condominium associations. Rapid growth of our humble company was made possible because as an independent agency we provided our clients with first rate earthquake insurance alternatives that were preferable over the overpriced and inadequate policies offered by Farmers and State Farm. From that very first day,  working as advocates for the insured and not henchman for the insurance companies,  we were able to offer the various coverage options our clients needed to get the right protection at the best possible price.

Through the years, we’ve employed a comprehensive approach to our specialty niches with the goal of bringing  the highest level of value and insight to all aspects of the insurance transaction. Our focus is to protect our insured using  both insurance and non-insurance tools to properly safeguard our clients’ interests. For this reason, we have chosen to work predominately in insurance specialties in which we are able to bring each client unique services that other agents are either unable or unwilling to provide. Our two areas of expertise are condominium associations and work comp insurance.

Condominium Associations: We are experts in insuring HOAs and are well versed in the fine details of how associations run and what is needed to  properly protect them.  Having read thousands of CC&Rs over the past decade, we are uniquely qualified to make sure that your policies are in compliance with your governing documents. In addition, we stay up on all of the laws and regulations and how they could affect the association’s insurance needs.  A small oversight by the agent or broker can create a huge problem when the claim happens.  The people who call us are not experts in insurance and they look to us to be able to understand all of their needs and to advise them in their best interest, so they get exactly the right coverage without any waste or gaps.

Workers Compensation: In workers compensation, we don’t stop just at shopping for the best rate. It’s our belief that this is just the beginning of the process.  We hand you a set  of easy-to-implement rules and procedures so that you can proactively control your experience modification factor so that you can consistently achieve the lowest possible rate available. We also provide you with  audit assistance so that you should get it right the first time with no hassles or surprise expenses by the insurance company.  So the low rate we got you at the beginning of the policy period holds up at the end of the period.  These tools have saved business owners millions of dollars since 2003.
